Introduction to B&W Printing

In this workshop we will be learning the fundamentals of B&W traditional darkroom printing. We will be covering how to use an enlarger, printing from a negative, basic contrast and exposure control, and print development workflow. Working in the darkroom is both a technical and artistic challenge, and this workshop will give you the opportunity to explore both as a part of your photographic practice.

Students are asked to provide their own paper. Resin coated (RC) paper is encouraged, but Aaron will demonstrate working with fiber paper for those who are interested.
