Introduction to Chemigrams

Instructor: Bridget Conn

Saturday, June 3rd
10 am - 5 pm (30 minute lunch break)

Pierre Cordier, who invented chemigrams in 1956, claims that they are "most likely, the ultimate adventure of gelatin silver bromide." Instructor Bridget Conn will give an overview of how chemigrams work, demonstrate a variety of tools and methods to explore mark-making, and give guidance on how to achieve control over value, texture, and even color.

No darkroom experience necessary.
