Introduction to

digital negatives

An in-person workshop with Adam schachner

Wednesday, March 5, 2025
6-9pm EST

This workshop covers the basics of file preparation and printer settings for making digital negatives for silver and nonsilver processes. As a class, we will take a few files to prepare for printing, learn how to apply premade curves, set up our printer correctly, and make our digital negative. This workshop is suitable for anyone interested in digital printing and alternative processes. No prior expertise is required, but basic Photoshop familiarity is helpful. There will be no darkroom processing during this workshop.

*Please bring 2-3 high resolution files to print. If you have your own laptop with Adobe Photoshop, then we recommend you bring it, as well.
