Artist Bio:
Jacob is a photographer who designs and constructs experimental cameras to explore how perception is shaped by technology. These intricate constructions—often featuring hundreds of apertures that divide film into gridded compositions—reframe the camera as an active participant in shaping perception. By restructuring these instruments, Jacob investigates time, repetition, and visual distortion. Their work has recently been exhibited at the Soho Photo Gallery, Unique Photo in Philadelphia, and the Wayne Art Center, and has been published in Jill Enfield's Guide to Alternative Photography and the Pinhole Poetry Journal.
