Cyd Peroni explores the Japanese concept of mono no aware – an awareness and appreciation of the impermanence of things and the transience of time – in her photographic work, which includes traditional and alternative photographic processes alongside a range of papers and materials from precious metals to encaustic wax. Tonight, she will discuss her work and her search for the spiritual and emotional meaning that lies behind the often-overlooked moments.
