Light talk with laurie beck peterson
Laurie Beck Peterson is an alternative process photographer who focuses on gum bichromate, cyanotype, and platinum/palladium and has also recently introduced plant-based processes such as anthotype and chlorophyll printing into her practice. Her work explores concepts of impermanence and the growth and decay of the natural world, and there is a symbiotic relationship between her subject matter and the processes that she employs. Laurie will discuss her gum bichromate series Visible Obscured and her series We All Fall Down, which features cyanotype works on paper and wood. A Q& A will follow the presentation.
A Q&A session will follow the slide presentation.
