Melanie Walker’s photographic practice is driven by contemporary sensibilities as applied to historical photographic processes and hand-made prints. Her immersive installations incorporate photography, sculpture, fabric, puppets, and sound, and her work on sheer fabrics emulates the visual challenges she experiences having been born visually impaired. Melanie will discuss her practice and projects with us.
