Sandra Fernandez is an Ecuadorian-American artist whose work is rooted in the transborder experience of exile, relocation, memory, and self-conscious identity-construction/reconstruction. Her practice includes photography, printmaking, artist books, sculpture/fiber art, assemblages, and installations.

Sandra’s work has been widely exhibited and collected in the U.S. and abroad, and she has had solo shows across the U.S. and in Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Canada, Palestine, Spain, Italy, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Indonesia.
