Virginia Woods-Jack is a British-born photographer currently living and working in Aotearoa/New Zealand. Her practice explores notions of connection to place, materiality, and memory and – in particular – how memory can inform the way people interact with the natural environment. Woods-Jack is also the founder and curator of Women in Photography NZ & AU, which seeks to elevate the profiles of female-identifying photographer from New Zealand and Australia. In this talk, she will share two of her most recently projects.
